About the Role

Key responsibilities:

Design and Execute High-Impact Medical Strategies:

  • Develop and execute a Medical Affairs strategy that aligns with local needs, global directives, and our mission to deliver the best for patients and caregivers.
  • Build synergies with key scientific leaders, medical associations, patients, and other stakeholders to co-create impactful solutions.
  • Leverage innovative omnichannel tools to maximize interactions with stakeholders.

Innovate Through High-Level Scientific Evidence:

  • Lead the development and local execution of an integrated evidence strategy, spanning from real-world evidence (RWE) studies to clinical trials and partnerships with top industry and academic collaborators.
  • Supervise innovative investigator-initiated trials and therapeutic access programs while ensuring scientific rigor and regulatory compliance.

Inspire Through Your Medical Expertise:

  • Be a key advocate for our treatments and therapeutic areas by enhancing knowledge and visibility through scientific publications, strategic congresses, and internal team training.
  • Create strategic partnerships with internal teams (Marketing, Market Access, Clinical Research, Regulatory Affairs, and more) to ensure optimal patient journeys and anticipate market needs.
  • Represent and be the voice of the therapeutic area in key external and internal interactions.

Ensure Compliance and Operational Excellence:

  • Be a trusted leader, ensuring all activities adhere to ethical and regulatory standards locally and globally while fostering a culture of integrity, diversity, and collaboration.

Essential Requirements:

  • Medical degree or a science background with advanced specialization (preferred).
  • Advanced fluency in both Spanish and English (ability to communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences).
  • A strong affinity for strategic innovation and applied science.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven experience designing and leading scientific and multidisciplinary strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare systems, pharmaceutical markets, and local regulatory processes.
  • Exceptional leadership, influence, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in matrixed and diverse environments.
